Abstract: The rheological behavior of fresh Self-compacting concrete was investigated using slump and slump flow measurements because the slump test is the most widely used field test for fresh concrete. Self-Compacting Concrete is a Bingham fluid and the rheological properties of fresh concrete can be defined in terms of yield stress and plastic viscosity. Therefore, this research attempts to quantify both yield stress and viscosity of Self-Compacting Concrete via slump and slump How measurements. Further, compressive strength at the ages of 7, 21 and 28 days was also determined and results are included here.
