Item Embargo Adaptive Video Game Content Generation through Player Centered Modeling(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2025-12-09) Hapuarachchi H.A.R.S; Herath H.M.N.R; Kaveesha B.G.S; Deheragoda D.M.L.M; Rathnayake, S; Chamara, DThis research introduces a novel, integrated AI system for Adaptive Video Game Content Generation Through Player Centered Modeling, designed to overcome the limitations of conventional static game mechanics by dynamically modifying gameplay elements (levels, quests, music, and enemy behavior) in real-time based on player biometric and behavioral data. Key contributions include the Personalized Quest Generation System, where the CatBoost model performed well in predicting player engagement, and shifting to the YOLO11X-CLS classification model substantially reduced computational lag for real-time emotional adaptation. For Level Generation, the implementation of a bootstrapping methodology during DCGAN training enabled continued refinement, resulting in lower Symmetry Error and Block Diversity Error, while the Intelligent Enemy Agent, trained using Dueling DQN, demonstrated a clear upward trend in Mean Rewards, successfully generalizing learned pursuit strategies to a real-time environment. Despite these successes, limitations include potential mild overfitting in the emotion recognition model, evidenced by a slight increase in validation loss after 20 epochs, and the CNN used for dynamic music adjustment struggled with low-resolution webcam inputs, leading to occasional minor misclassifications and slight delays in music transitions when multiple biometric parameters changed simultaneously.Publication Embargo Prop Cone: The Virtual Prop House(IEEE, 2022-12-09) Perera, H.A.I.T; Weerabahu, A.A.D.K; Weerasinghe, B.M; Wickramasuriya, I.U.; Gamage, I; Chamara, D; Gayan Madushanka, H.A.In films, props are the moving objects that may be seen. Prop masters and art directors’ assistants are responsible for gathering movie-related props. The selection of props is also essential, because the appeal of a film is dependent on its captivating qualities. It is difficult to select without a solid recommendation and a large gallery. Therefore, the suggested platform is a virtual prop house that works as a prop-specific recommendation system and has additional capabilities such as putting previews and history records. The process necessitates a cross-device platform, as the recommendation system functions as a web page, and when it comes to the improved capabilities of positioning previews, it is transitioning to a mobile application with AR Core support. In this study, the recommendations for the props can be made in one of three efficient ways. They are by reading the script and recommending the props using word recognition, recommending props from the available gallery by scanning an image, which can be a screenshot of a movie, and as associated props which makes the prop master’s job easier by suggesting props by grouping and ranking the most prevalently utilized props in the movies that have been screened so far.Item Embargo Smart Heritage: A Blockchain and NFT Framework for Secure Authentication and Fractional Investment in Sri Lankan Handicrafts(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2026-07-06) Manohara K.K.K; Dharmasena E.A.H.T.; Rajapaksha D.N; Bandara H.D; Chamara, D; Abeywardena, K.Y; Nismi, NThe Sri Lankan handicraft sector possesses significant cultural and economic value; however, counterfeit production, limited ownership traceability, and the absence of resale royalty mechanisms restrict its global scalability. Traditional systems fail to provide reliable provenance verification and sustainable financial benefits for artisans and previous owners. This paper proposes a blockchain-enabled ecosystem integrating Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), NFC-based authentication, fractional ownership, and a smart security box to enhance authenticity, transparency, and value creation. Each handicraft is linked to a unique NFT and a cryptographically secured NFC tag, creating a tamper-resistant connection between the physical artifact and its digital identity. Smart contracts enable transparent ownership tracking and automated lifetime royalty distribution, ensuring artisans receive royalties from every future resale without intermediaries. The proposed framework also introduces a fractional ownership model for culturally significant, non-commercial heritage artifacts, enabling collective digital ownership with tiered access to exclusive cultural content while distributing cascading royalties to previous shareholders upon resale. A smart security box with NFC further protects high-value physical artifacts. Prototype evaluation on an Ethereum-compatible test network achieved a 100% success rate across 24 smart contract unit tests, 100% NFC authentication accuracy for 12 handicraft items with average response times of 380-450 ms, and consistent royalty and Proof-of-Residency distribution across nine simulated resale transactions. The key contributions of this work are: (1) a cryptographic NFC-NFT binding mechanism resistant to tag cloning, (2) a smart contract-based lifetime royalty engine with previous-owner redistribution, and (3) a fractional community ownership model that supports global participation in preserving non-commercial cultural heritage. The proposed architecture demonstrates the potential of blockchain technology to preserve cultural heritage while creating a sustainable economic ecosystem for artisans and investors.
