K. A; Perera, G. L. A. K. N; Wijayaweera, V. P; Ali, M. A. M. ADevelopment organization maintain separate environments for development, quality assurance and production etc. These environments execute independently and have their deployments, and own methods of traffics controlling that are handled locally. Under such a process Application programming interface (API) artifacts allowed to be created only at development environment, tested in QA (Quality Assurance) environment and then would promote to the production environment prior releasing to the market. When moving API management products from one environment to another, all the created APIs need to migrate across different environments to test the exact functionality and behavior of the application. Purpose of this implemented tool is to minimize the effort and time in recreating APIs and facilitate the accurate and efficient migration across different environments without any major post migration changes and additional effort. Most of the API managing products as well as API publishers engaging with API imports and exports of APIs will be the beneficiary parties of this product. Firm analysis of the current migration techniques uses by trending API Management products reveled major sieve point that needed to be address. Final tool will be an executable file which can be plug and play via the command line interface. This tool can be used by any REST (Representational state transfer) based API managing applications without major configuration changes. Other than import and export functionality, tool equipped with built-in authentication mechanism to ensure the security of the publisher proprietary of the APIs, API subscription and single cluster deployment via minikube and Google cloudPublication Open Access Formulation of a National Framework for the Digital Transformation of Sri Lanka’s Public Bus Transport System(University of Moratuwa, 2019) Dunuwila, V. R; Jayakody, A; Weerawardhana, R. T; Pabasara, W. A. S; Ketipearachchi, U. S; Sunas, H. Mformation of Sri Lanka’s public bus transport system would result in the delivery of a quality transportation experience to passengers while minimizing traffic congestion in Colombo as the availability of a high-quality bus transport service would encourage citizens to use public transport more often instead of their own private vehicles. 32 The proposed research contrasts with other researches as it facilitates the development of a Digitized National framework that would be applicable to the entire bus transport system of the country. Furthermore, it would be beneficial if the passengers are provided with an integrated up-to-date solution where information such as the location of the bus, arrival time, bus fare, duration and journey distance is available in real-time. Besides, the study is also significant as this area has not been much focused academically in the Sri Lankan context. The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, National Transport Commission (NTC), Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) and Sri Lanka Private Bus Owners Association will be the main organizations benefitted by this research in addition to passengers travelling in and out of Colombo.Publication Open Access Impact of Critical Success Factors on ERP Implementation: Typical Organizations in Sri Lankan Context(Global Journal of Computer Science and Technology, 2019-08-31) Samaranayake, E. M. M. N; Jayakody, A; Punchihewa, N. N. W. G; Wijesiri, H. N. I; Jeewantha, B. V. REnterprise Resource Planning system is a software that suitable for the user to earn more ROI by involving business activities. By the way, most organizations are still afraid to adopt this to their organizations. The reason is the high-cost wastage, and also bankruptcy. But it is not true at all the time. ERP can implement to small and medium-sized organizations too. To clarify these points, the paper focuses on the critical factors that affect the success of an ERP implementation process. It will do by a conceptual framework. It review and assertion of 15 hypotheses will carry out using "structural equation modeling technique". The definition of multi-variable technology used since the ability to check multiple linear connections at once simultaneously depends on one or more variables dependently and independentlyPublication Embargo Context Rich Hybrid Navigation Using WiFi and Geomagnetic Sensors in Smartphones and Map Generation Using Lidar(IEEE, 2019-10-08) Jayakody, A; Lokuliyana, S; Weerawardene, V. N. N; Somathilake, K. D. P. S; Ishara, A. M. D. D. UNavigation systems perform a huge role in traveling component of life. Most importantly it helps people to get to places even in foreign or unfamiliar environments. This research introduces a way of mapping environments with less effort, which shows that mapping an indoor environment is an easy task that could be performed by any tech savvy individual. This has been done by examining several projects and researches conducted by various personnel and organizations including NASA. It has become clear that the technology `LIDAR,' is clearly feasible for the requirement of indoor map generation. A software was later built to accommodate the device which is built using LIDAR and to give the user a better experience in map generation. The software helps to overcome the limitations that are imposed by the device. The overall product with the device and software integrated provides an ideal low-budget solution for the users. The proposed system service features three highly desirable properties, namely accuracy, scalability, and crowdsourcing. IPS is implemented with a set of crowdsourcing-supportive mechanisms to handle the collective amount of raw data, filter incorrect user contributions and exploit Wi-Fi data from diverse mobile devices. Furthermore, it uses a big-data architecture for efficient storage and retrieval of localization and mapping data. In this research, the service relies on the sensitive data collected by smartphones (Wi-Fi signal strength and geomagnetic measurements) to deliver reliable indoor geolocation information.Publication Embargo Smart Crop and Fertilizer Prediction System(IEEE, 2019-12-05) Wickramasinghe, C. P; Lakshitha, P. L. N; Hemapriya, H. P. H. S; Jayakody, A; Ranasinghe, P. G. N. SAgricultural industry plays a major role in the process of economic development as well as the Gross Domestic Product of Sri Lanka. One of the significant issues in the industry is lacking an accurate way to identify the best crop that can be grown with the available soil fertility in a particular land. Since most of the farmers have a lack of knowledge about soil nutrients, they start cultivations by believing myths in society and few of them use scientific approaches. This research mainly focuses on suggesting the best crop according to soil fertility of land and also it recommends a fertilizer plan to optimize the amount of fertilizers applied for suggested crops. The paper presents a tool with embedded sensors that measure soil fertility and developed a cross- platform mobile application to suggest the best crops according to available soil fertility. Further, a fertilizer plan will be suggested to optimize fertilizer usage in order to increase profitability and avoid soil degradation. To evaluate the final product, the same soil sample was tested in the lab and using sensors embedded tool. Results obtained by those tests proven that both generate approximately equal Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) values.Publication Embargo IoT Device to Detect Anemia: A Non-Invasive Approach with Multiple Inputs(IEEE, 2019-12-05) Hafeel, A; Fernando, H. S. M. H; Pravienth, M; Lokuliyana, S; Kayanthan, N; Jayakody, ADetection of diseases is a key aspect when considering the world today. Diseases if not cured early it gets worse day by day. Therefore, early detection of the disease is a key aspect that needs to be considered. In this project, the team aims to develop a device to detect Anemia which is a disease caused due to the lack of Fe3+ ions in the body. This is a disease that would even lead to organ failure eventually leading to a heart attack or death. Anemia is causing the red intensity of blood to reduce. Therefore, the team is using that factor to detect the disease. The team has built this device using a key symptom where the intensity of red in the blood is measured and the output is sent to a central server, whilst the server also gets input from a questionnaire that is built in-app. Using this data, the server will decide whether the user is suffering from anemia or not. When tested against the anemia patient there is an accuracy rate of almost 83% that is obtained and when crossed checked against the actual testing done, it qualifies the taken accurate result.Publication Embargo Cloud Native Efficient Solution for API Migration Across Environments For Agile Integration Enterprises(IEEE, 2019-12-05) Jayakody, A; Perera, A. D. U; Jayadewa, K. W. C; Jayakody, AVision Impairment is a severe reduction of one or more functions of the eye. The print disability prevents a person from gaining information from printed material in the standard way and requires them to utilize alternative methods to access the information. World Health Organization estimated that nineteen (19) million children are visually impaired worldwide. As they are the future of the world it is necessary to eradicate barriers to the journey of gaining knowledge. Hence, this paper presents a mobile-based application targeting elementary school students to read textual documents, which contains a graphical image. The mobile application provides audio assistance to navigate through a mobile application, autofocused image capturing of printed papers, store captured images, classify selected text, images, and read-aloud generated digitized text. Therefore, “Schmoozer” would allow visually impaired individuals to read unbraided documents without others' interaction. Furthermore, this paper discusses the test results and evaluations to justify the feasibility of the proposed solution.Publication Embargo SecAODV-Lightweight Authentication for AODV Protocol(International Journal of Computer Applications, 2016) Jayakody, A; Samarasinghe, R; Kodituwakku, S. RIn nature of the transmission medium the broadcast, Wireless sensor networks are vulnerable to security attacks. The nodes are placed in a hostile or dangerous environment where they are not tangibly safe in the MANETs. In many application, the data obtained from the sensing nodes need a false, or malicious node could intercept private information or could send false messages to nodes in the network. Among the major attacks Eavesdropping, Spoof Attack, Denial of Service, Wormhole attack, Sinkhole attack, Sybil attack, Selective Forwarding attack, Passive information gathering, Node capturing, and False or malicious node, Hello flood attack are common. In this paper, authors have proposed and implemented an efficient light weighted authentication secure routing protocol on top of an AODV. The focused area of the proposed routing protocol is increasing the network security of the MANET. Additionally, the paper evaluates the implemented protocol using NS2 simulator in different networks with SecAODV.
