Fog computing represents an emerging paradigm in information and communication technologies that is becoming pivotal for meeting the growing performance requirements of modern computing
systems, particularly in the context of the Internet of Things (IoT) and real-time services. One of the most promising 2030-network service classes enabled by fog is telepresence. This paper investigates
both the theoretical and practical aspects of deploying fog-computing solutions in telepresence networks to minimize latency and enhance overall system performance. The study combines analytical modelling
with discrete-event simulations carried out in Any Logic.
