Publication Embargo සමාජ ගවේෂකයා - ශාස්ත්රීය පර්යේෂණ ක්රමවේදය: මූලිකාංග, විධික්රම සහ භාවිතය(මිනිමුතු ප්රකාශකයෝ, 2022-01-01) සාලිය, සී. ඒ.මෙම කෘතිය කොටස් පහකින් සමන්විත වේ. පළමු කොටසේ පරිච්ඡේද පහක් පුරා ශාස්ත්රීය පර්යේෂණයේ විශ්ලේෂණාත්මක සමාලෝචනයක් (an overview) සහ එහි පසුබිම සාකච්ඡා කෙරේ. දෙ වැනි කොටසේ පර්යේෂණ ගැටලු සැකසීම, ප්රකාශන පත්රිකා සමාලෝචනය සහ දත්ත රැස් කිරීමේ ක්රියාවලිය ද (articulation of problem statement, reviewing relevant existing knowledge and data collection), තෙ වැනි කොටසේ පර්යේෂණයක් සඳහා අනුගමනය කළ හැකි උපායමාර්ග නැතහොත් පර්යේෂණ ක්රමෝපායයන් ගැන පරිච්ඡේද 15කින් (Chapters 9 – 23) සවිස්තරාත්මක ව ඉදිරිපත් කොට ඇත (Quantitative, Qualitative and Mixed method). සිව් වැනි කොටසේ විවිධ පර්යේෂණ විධික්රම (methods) ප්රායෝගික ව ක්රියාවට නගන අයුරු සාකච්ඡා කෙරේ (data analysing, interpreting and drawing conclusions). මෙය ඉදිරිපත් කොට ඇත්තේ ජාත්යන්තර සඟරාවල ප්රකාශනයට පත්කරන ලද කර්තෘගේ ම පර්යේෂණ පත්රිකා කිහිපයක් (ශ්රී ලංකාව සම්බන්ධ පර්යේෂණ පත්රිකා කිහිපයක් ද ඇතුළු) සංක්ෂිප්ත ව ඉදිරිපත් කොට විවිධ පර්යේෂණ ක්රමෝපායයන් ක්රියාවට නගන අයුරු (applications) පැහැදිලි කිරීම් මඟිනි. පස් වැනි කොටසේ පර්යේෂණ පත්රිකා සැකසීමේ ක්රමවේදය සහ ජාත්යන්තර සඟරාහී ප්රකාශනයට පත්කිරීම පිළිබඳ ක්රියාවලිය ඉදිරිපත් කෙරෙන්නේ ඔබගේ පර්යේෂණයන් ප්රකාශනයට පත් කිරීමට අවැසි මඟ පෙන්වීමට ය. හැඳින්වීම් පරිච්ඡේද සමඟ සියලුම පරිච්ඡේද ගණන 30කි. මෙහි ඇති අන්තර්ගතයන් සාමාන්යය උපාධි අපේක්ෂකයින් මෙන් ම පශ්චාත් සහ අචාර්ය උපාධි සඳහා අධ්යයනයේ යෙදෙන අයටත්, පර්යේෂණයක් නිමා කොට වැදගත් ආකර්ශණීය සොයාගැනීම් පර්යේෂණ පත්රිකා ලෙස ප්රකාශනයට පත් කිරීමට අපේක්ෂා කරන ශාස්ත්රඥයින්ට මෙන් ම සාමාන්යය බුද්ධිමත් පාඨකයින්ටත් එක සේ වැදගත් විය හැකි ය. තවදුරටත් මෙම ග්රන්ථය උපයෝගී කර ගනිමින් පාඨමලාවක් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට ද ඉඩ ප්රස්ථාව ඇත.Publication Open Access International Migration Outlook - Sri Lanka(International Organization for Migration, 2009-05) Jayathilaka, R; Jayawardhana, TThis report was undertaken by the Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka (IPS) for the International Organization for Migration (IOM). C; Jayatilleke, R; Kelegama, SThe link between trade liberalisation and poverty has arguably been one of the most debated topics in development policy debate. Existing studies on the subject have primarily used multi-country cross-sectional data, and there is a growing concern about the limitations of this approach in providing a sound empirical basis for informing the policy debate. These limitations point to the need for undertaking in-depth analyses within individual countries over time. In order to examine the connection between trade liberalisation and poverty, this book provides case studies of trade policy reforms and poverty reduction outcomes of seven countries in South Asia - Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The South Asia region allows for an excellent comparative study given the widespread emphasis on liberalisation reforms in the region over the past two decades, as well as highlighting significant inter-country differences in terms of the timing and comprehensiveness of reforms, and the heavy concentration of world poverty in the region.
