    An AI based Chatbot to Self-Learn and Self-Assess Performance in Ordinary Level Chemistry

    Education is one of the fast-growing fields in the global perspective. Advancement of technology can be used in this sector to provide an effective and a valuable education system. In general, the students are more attracted to displays rather than the textbooks. In Sri Lanka, there is an inadequacy of resources and teachers cannot provide one on one attention to the students. Sri Lanka is not equipped with any platform to self-learn or self-evaluate their performance using an application either. Fortunately, “Edubot” acts as a solution for the stated research gap by providing a self-learning and self-evaluating AI based chatbot platform for Ordinary Level students in Chemistry domain. The self-learning component will provide the students a classroom environment by providing interactive tutorials. Explanatory responses would be given by Edubot by capturing doubts raised by the students and the self-evaluating component will provide an exam-based environment in which the Edubot auto generates the question and answers. The research finding shows that each component has an accuracy of more than 70 percent and helps to achieve the main goal of increasing the resources available to the ordinary level students in the Chemistry domain. This would then lead to an increase in the pass rate of the chemistry subject in the G.C.E Ordinary Level exam.

    A Critical Literature Review on Nexus of Bullying and the Whisperings of Turnover Intentions in Sri Lanka's Higher Educational Sphere

    Workplace bullying is defined as repeated mistreatments and harassment aimed towards an organisational member by other individuals or groups within a workplace context. It remains a critical concern across the globe in various industries negatively impacting the employees’ wellbeing and organisations’ reputation to date. This critical literature review delves into the definite context of academics in the higher education sector in Sri Lanka to explore the relationship between workplace bullying and turnover intentions. This critical literature review examines the theoretical framework, methodological strategies, and empirical data to shed light on the complex relationship between workplace bullying and turnover intentions among academics in the higher education sector of Sri Lanka. By directing attention to these dual aims, this study pursues to understand the underlying mechanisms that link workplace bullying to turnover intentions. This proposed study also explores the moderating role of leadership styles on the relationship between workplace bullying and turnover intentions. The thorough evaluation of methodological strategies captures the complexities of workplace bullying experiences and the implications in the existing research studies. This critical literature contributes to further enhancing the existing literature on workplace bullying and turnover intentions by providing insights into its prevalence and influence within academics in the higher education sector of Sri Lanka.     Methodology for Coping with Uncertain Information Contained in Natural Language Instructions in a Robotic System

    Intelligent service robots are currently being developed to provide services and assistance in different sectors including domestic and household context. Typically, the service tasks of a domestic service robot involve direct interaction with humans. Humans typically express their ideas through voice communication. However, communication through natural language is imprecise because it tends to contain uncertain and unknown information. Therefore, understanding uncertain terms contained in natural language is a crucial capability that an intelligent service robot should possess. Hence, this project which is named as IntelBot is aimed at developing a methodology to cope with uncertain and unknown words contained in a natural language command given to a domestic service robot. In brief, the proposed system can interpret uncertain commands related to speed such as “go very fast” and the uncertain commands related to time such as “go later”. Additionally, if the robot is instructed to identify an object which is regarded to be unknown, as an example “cup" it can interpret and identify that particular object. And for the entire system, a user-friendly interface is developed for the easy control of the robot and the demonstration of the functionalities.

    A Mobile Application to Predict and Manage High Blood Pressure and Personalized Recommendations

    The purpose of this investigation is to present a mobile application using AI expert and how to predict and manage high blood pressure and provide personalized recommendations to lower it. Basically, the system interprets the inadequate and inappropriate intake of food is known to cause various health issues and diseases. Due to the diversity of food components and a large number of dietary sources, it is challenging to perform a real-time selection of diet patterns that must fulfill one’s nutrition needs and with considering your health issues and diseases. In this research, to address this issue to present an android based system, called Smart Blood Pressure Recommendation app. The purpose of this system is to allow patients to have an easy way to monitor their health and to see how their blood pressure has changed over time. This offer advice or suggestions, without having to schedule an appointment. As the system continues to gather data from a patient, it begins to offer advice its own if it finds that the patient’s current conditions fit a certain condition or pattern. To generate a recommendation, it refers to an Ontology based data model. The data model gains information about its knowledge by doctors and nutritionists that can be used by AI expert.     Platform Independent Browser Forensic Tool for Advanced Analysis of Artifacts and Case Management

    Abstract—A web browser is a major attack vector which cybercriminals utilize to land in an environment. The evidence related to the malicious browsing activities can be found in the host which gives valuable information related to the case. These digital footprints involve history, cookies, bookmarks, saved credentials and downloads etc. This paper presents a sophisticated tool aiding the conventional manual investigation process from evidence collection to the final v e rdict b y a u tomating h u man dependent functions, resulting a fast and unbiased analysis of browser forensic artifacts. This tool states its unique value over the existing tools by working operating systems independently, collecting all browsing evidence including deleted artifacts and encrypted saved credentials, automatically analysing the reputation of the extracted evidence, integrating evidence collected from different web browsers into a single timeline, and correlating the adjacent distrustful events inside and outside the host. Eventually, this tool calculates a browsing reputation scorecard and creates a profile for the host, condensing the findings g a thered t h roughout the investigation. The paper presents another important methodology to predict the future browsing reputation score based on the past browsing patterns. Furthermore, multiple cases management feature and dashboard provide a concise overview of overall findings to the forensic investigator.
