    Agent-Based Gamified Learning Environments for Data Science Education

    Because of the rapid advancement of technology and the increasing importance of the inferences that can be drawn from the big data available in organizations, modern organizations require managers and data Analysts who are capable of data-driven decision-making. But data science students need a natural environment when it comes to learning data-driven decisionmaking, especially when it comes to predictive and prescriptive analytics. Due to costs and other associated risks in a natural organisation setting, it is hard for educational institutions to teach these aspects of decision-making for data science students. Even Though gamification has been implemented in the data analysis domain in various forms, the field still requires a suitable environment to learn predictive analytics interactively for the students. Even though Researchers have identified that Gamified learning environments can improve Predictive analytics learning can be improved by 15.8%, still there is the lack of proper implementation of a suitable gamified learning environment. This research focused on identifying drawbacks of existing learning environments and whether Agent-Based Modeling can be used in modelling a suitable gamified learning environment. Therefore, an agent-based prototype model of a parameterized environment that enables data-driven decision-making in a simulated environment was modeled using Agentbased modeling, which depicts real-life donor interactions. Results suggest that fill in blanks This Agent-based model can be used as a learning environment for data analysis. Upon further modification, A game that applies this Agent-based model can be developed.

    Unlocking Potential: A Systematic Literature Review on the Role of Business Analytics in Enhancing Entrepreneurship within Sri Lanka's Tourism and Hospitality Sectors

    This paper presents a systematic literature review on the application of business analytics (BA) in the tourism and hospitality industries, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka. Business analytics is increasingly recognized as a powerful tool for businesses, enabling data-driven decision-making that fosters competitiveness, operational efficiency, and innovation. This review employs the GRADE framework to assess the quality and strength of evidence from various research articles on the impact and potential of BA in tourism, hospitality, and entrepreneurship. Key themes include the importance of business analytics in strategic decision-making, demand forecasting, customer segmentation, and the role of entrepreneurial orientation in the adoption of BA. The findings highlight both opportunities and challenges in adopting BA techniques, especially in emerging economies like Sri Lanka.

    Predictive Analytics Platform for Organic Cultivation Management

    There is an increasing demand for organic farming as an environmentally friendly alternative to industrial agricultural system. It is a method of farming that does not involve pesticides, fertilizers, genetically modified organisms, and growth hormones. Organic farming yields vital benefits such as preservation of soil's organic composition, fertility, structure and biodiversity, reduce erosion and reduce the risks of human, animal, and environmental exposure to toxic materials. This paper presents design and development of a software platform for supporting sustainability of organic agriculture system, which has been implemented as a proof of concept in Sri Lanka. The predictive analytics based service platform that not only supports farming decisions of organic farmers but also offers an electronic market place for organic foods. The proposed system is capable of predicting organic harvests, prices and provide decision support on crop selection for upcoming cultivations. To implement this system, machine learning and optimization techniques have been used. In addition, it uses block chain technology to maintain authentication and identity management of organic farmers so that the consumers can trust they get genuine organic food.
